Emergency services, including medics and police, raced to the scene. On arrival, they found the 40-year-old with serious injuries.
However, Sandie was tragically pronounced dead a short time later.

Officers are urging anyone with information on the incident to come forward. Cops have also set up an online portal, named Operation PARETO, where information can be submitted.

After being alerted to the incident on Tuesday afternoon, a huge cordon was set up in the area.
Police taped off several blocks of flats near Dobbies Lane Place and St Mungo Avenue.
The area remained cordoned off on Wednesday, October 30, while officers continued to investigate Sandie's death.
In pictures captured by the Glasgow Times on Wednesday, cops can be seen standing guard around the cordon.
Meanwhile, due to the alleged disturbance, Glasgow City Council revealed two roads in the area have been closed while cops carry out their enquiries into the incident.

Meanwhile, cops were spotted standing guard at the scene yesterday as well, which spans the flats on St Mungo Avenue, the St Mungo Avenue playground, and the Dobbies Loan Place high-rise flats nearby.
A large patch of grass near the Townhead shops had also been sealed off.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Ambulance Service confirmed they also attended the incident.
