Cops in Liverpool are looking to track down the Glasgow family of a man who died last week.

Merseyside Police has said the Liverpool Coroner's Office wants to find the next of kin of Fraser Cassidy, of Invergarry Road, in the Croxteth area of the English city.

The 65-year-old sadly passed away on October 26.

Now, officers believe Mr Cassidy may have family in the Glasgow area.

They are urging anyone with information to get in touch.

A spokesperson for Merseyside Police South Liverpool said: "Liverpool Coroner's Office wants to find the next of kin of Fraser Cassidy, aged 65, of Invergarry Road, in Croxteth, who passed away on October 26.

"It's believed Mr Cassidy had family in Glasgow.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland added: "Liverpool Coroner's Office is appealing to trace the family of Fraser Cassidy, 65, who died last week.

"It is believed he has family in Glasgow."
