A car went up in flames near a popular retail park today.
Cops and fire crews received reports of smoke coming from a car on Glasgow Road, near to Kingsgate Retail Park in East Kilbride.
A fire truck was sent to the scene, were firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze.
This was at around 9am.

There were no reported casualties and crews left after ensuring the area was made safe. Recovery was later arranged.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 9.07am on Thursday, October 31 to reports of smoke coming from a car near to the Kingsgate Retail Park, East Kilbride.
"Operations Control mobilised one fire appliance and firefighters extinguished a fire affecting one car.
"There were no reported casualties and crews left after ensuring the area was made safe."

A Police Scotland spokesperson added: “We received a report of a car on fire on Glasgow Road, East Kilbride, around 9.25am on Thursday, October 31, 2024.
“There were no reports of any injuries and recovery was arranged.”
It is unknown what caused the fire.
