A man has been arrested in connection with the death of a Glasgow woman.
Sandie Butler, from Glasgow, died after being found seriously injured in the St Mungo Avenue area in the city's Townhead on Tuesday, October 29.
The incident occurred in broad daylight at around 12.55pm.
We previously reported that emergency service crews rushed to the scene, but the 40-year-old was sadly pronounced dead a short time later.

Now, a 53-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death.
The force went on to say that enquiries are continuing to establish the full circumstances.
Following her death, tributes quickly flocked in on social media for the much-loved and well-known woman.
One person wrote: "Omg Sandie. I'm so sorry to hear this. I'll never forget the help you gave my sister.
"My thoughts are with your family and friends at this sad time."
Another said: "So sad to hear this about poor Sandie. Lovely person."
A third added: "No, not Sandie. She was such a lovely person. RIP."
