A man has been put on the 'most wanted' list after a sexual incident at a train station near Glasgow.
British Transport Police detectives have been trying to identify and track down a male who may be able to help their investigation into a sexual assault.
The incident in question occurred on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at Thornliebank station.
Despite making numerous appeals to the public, the man has still not been found.
BTP has now enlisted the help of Crimestoppers who have placed the man on their 'most wanted' list.
He is described as Middle Eastern, in his mid to late 20s, with short black hair.
The man was wearing a navy tracksuit, and the upper zipper featured a white and light blue pattern on the chest.
He wore a pair of grey or brown trainers.
A spokesperson said: “Detectives from British Transport Police are continuing efforts to identify a male who may be able to assist with an ongoing investigation.
"The incident in question involves the assault of a female that occurred on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at Thornliebank Railway Station, Glasgow.
"Despite previous media appeals, the male has not yet been identified.
"Detectives are now seeking the assistance of Crimestoppers in identifying this individual, who is believed to be crucial in progressing the enquiry.
"The male is described as of Middle Eastern appearance, mid to late twenties, short black hair wearing a dark navy full tracksuit.
"Upper zipper has a white and light blue pattern on the chest. The bottoms have two light blue stripes down each outer side. He is wearing a pair of grey/brown trainers."
