A fundraiser has been launched to help the grieving family of a woman who was fatally hit by a car.
Clare Ritchie was walking on Crossgates in Bellshill at around 9.30pm on Friday, November 1 when she was struck by a silver Ford Fiesta.
The 41-year-old mum was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Following the tragic news, a family friend has set up a gofundme in Clare's honour to give her 'the best send-off' and support her children.
