A warning has been issued ahead of road works in a busy Hamilton area next week.
South Lanarkshire Council said carriageway resurfacing works will take place on Caird Street from 8am until 6pm on Monday, November 11, at the junction of Douglas Street and New Park Street.
During the works, the local authority has said motorists won't be able to access the Hamilton Retail Park from Caird Street.

Head of Roads, Fleet and Transportation Services, Colin Park, said: “We apologise in advance for any inconvenience these works may cause, however, we are confident we will be able to complete the works in one day, minimising any disruption.
“If you can, please avoid the area for the duration of the works, but if not, leave extra time for your journey.”
A spokesperson for the council added: "Advanced warning signs are in place ahead of the works next week."
