Two men are due in court after drugs worth around £68,000 were seized from a vehicle in Rutherglen.
Cops stopped the vehicle on Cambuslang Road in the early hours of this morning.
The force says they recovered cannabis.
The men, aged 32 and 20, are expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday, November 6, 2024.
Road Policing Sergeant Scott Gourlay said: “This recovery highlights our commitment to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country’s Serious Organised Crime Strategy.
“Removing drugs from our streets remains a priority for Police Scotland and information provided by the public is essential in helping us achieve this.
“We encourage anyone with information or concerns about drugs in their community to contact police via 101.
"Alternatively Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.”
