A car has been deliberately torched on a residential street in Wishaw.
Detectives are appealing for information following the blaze on Curlinghaugh Crescent in the town.
The incident took place at around 9.15pm on Monday, November 4.
Luckily, the motor fire was tackled by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service. Officers have since revealed no one was injured during the incident.

Police have now launched an investigation into the shocking incident and are urging anyone with information on it to come forward.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Enquiries are ongoing and anyone who may have witnessed the fire is asked to contact police.
"We also ask anyone with private CCTV or dashcam footage of the area at the time to come forward.
"Anyone with information can contact police on 101 quoting incident 3823 of November 4, 2024.
"Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained."
