The Community Pub Hero Awards for 2025 are now open for entries.
The awards celebrate the best community support offered by pubs across the UK.
Currently held by Greenhills in East Kilbride, the title of Community Support Hero for Scotland is up for grabs.
The awards ceremony takes place in front of MPs at the Houses of Parliament.
The awards aim to recognise and celebrate pubs that go above and beyond to support their local communities, whether through fundraising, community events, or other initiatives.
Pubs from Glasgow and surrounding areas are encouraged to enter if they have raised money for good causes, supported grassroots sports, organised community events, or launched 'innovative' sustainability initiatives.
The Community Pub Hero Awards, organised by PubAid in association with the All Party Parliamentary Beer Group and sponsored by Matthew Clark, have categories including Community Support Hero, Community Fundraising Hero, and Community Regular Hero.
Each of these categories will have regional winners from England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland.
All entries are free.
Greenhills won this year's award thanks to their efforts the previous year, specifically in April 2023 raising more than £4,000 for Aiden Fitzpatrick, a bar staff member diagnosed with the rare cancer, Acute Promyelocytic Leukaemia (APL).
The pub's charity football match fundraising effort and Aiden's subsequent setting up of the "Mental Health to Mental Wealth" group offering free support to the community earned them the title.
Tonia Antoniazzi MP, chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Beer Group, said: "I was honoured to attend the awards last year and meet so many dedicated publicans and hear about how they support their local communities and know that this year will be incredible as well."
Pubs interested in entering can do so on the Community Pub Hero Awards website.
The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony in 2025.
