An area of Coatbridge has reopened following a chemical leak.
Properties on Cameron Street in the town were evacuated on Tuesday following reports of the incident.
Police descended on the scene and also closed off Burnbank Street at Coltswood Road, Cromlet Drive, and Northburn Industrial Estate as a preauction.
The force has revealed an update that Cameron Street has since reopened to the public and thankfully no one was injured in this incident.
An investigation into how the leak happened is underway.
A spokesperson said: "Cameron Street in Coatbridge has reopened following a report of a chemical leak yesterday. No-one was injured in the incident and enquiries are ongoing."
