AN ELDERLY man was caught with £20,000 of drugs in his home during a bust.
John Griffin, 63, was snared with cannabis as well as etizolam at the property in Glasgow's Dennistoun on November 25, 2022.
Glasgow Sheriff Court heard that Griffin's home was raided by police after a warrant was granted.
Prosecutor Victoria Keel said: "Paraphernalia was found within namely a quantity scales, metal grinders, multiple bags of cannabis and a bag of etizolam tablets."
A total of £2,035 in cash was also recovered.
It was stated that over two kilos of cannabis was found in the property as well as 500 etizolam tablets.
Griffin told officers: "It's all here, you found it."
Miss Keel told the court that if the cannabis was subdivided it had the potential value of £20,080.
Griffin - who uses a wheelchair - pled guilty today to being concerned in the supply of cannabis.
The first offender also admitted possession of etizolam tablets.
Sentence was deferred pending background reports until next month by Sheriff Tom Hughes who granted Griffin bail meantime.
