A man threatened a shop worker before robbing a sum of cash from a store.
Around 4.45pm on Saturday, November 9, police say a man entered a shop on Glebe Place in Cambuslang and asked for cigarettes before he claimed to have forgotten his money and left.
He then went back in, demanded money, and threatened to throw a substance at the shop worker before leaving with a sum of cash from the till.

Officers are now appealing for information following the incident.
Cops described the man as white, around five feet and three inches tall with blonde facial stubble.
He was wearing a green jacket pulled up to cover part of his face, black trousers and grey trainers.

Detective Constable Karen Hay said: “Fortunately the shop worker was not injured but left very frightened by what happened.
“We are appealing anyone who saw the man or knows where he went or where he might be to get in touch.”
