A man has been left injured after cops raced to a disturbance involving a crowd on a Glasgow street.

Police were called to the incident on Crownpoint Road in the East End on Sunday, November 10, shortly after 12pm.

The force said they were alerted to a report of a disturbance and a crowd gathered in the area.

Emergency services rushed to the scene. On arrival, most of the crowd had dispersed.

However, one man was found to have been injured during the incident. He was then taken to Glasgow's Royal Infirmary where medics have since described his condition as being stable.

An investigation into the disturbance is ongoing.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Around 12.15pm on Sunday, November 10, 2024, police were called to a report of a disturbance and crowd gathered on Crownpoint Road, Glasgow.

"On arrival, most of the crowd had dispersed.

"One man was found to have been injured during the incident and was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary, where medical staff described his condition as stable.

"Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the incident."
