A Bearsden restaurant has been given a 'gold seal' in this year's Good Food Awards.
The awards have become a respected name in the food industry, recognising and celebrating local cuisine and independent businesses in the UK since 2002.
Its 2025 winners were revealed earlier this month and one spot in Bearsden caught the eye of experts, earning it a 'gold seal'.

The Scallop's Tale has been recognised for the 'highly-revered' accolade, which is "bestowed upon those achieving consistently high customer ratings".
Opening on Roman Road in May 2022, the eatery boasts an impressive £350,000 nautical-themed interior and 30 seats across its two floors.
As well as serving classic dishes like fish and chips, The Scallop's Tale also serves a range of other choices such as Thai monkfish curry, pan-fried scallops, pizza and pasta.

A spokesperson for the Good Food Awards said: "Our Good Food Awards recognise the hard-working teams who strive for excellence within their field.
"Chosen for their food quality, service and value, our highly revered Gold Seal, is bestowed upon those achieving consistently high customer ratings/votes over three years, making our Gold Seal a marque of distinction."
