The lead singer of a legendary band is coming to Glasgow on a special solo tour.
Roger Daltrey of The Who will hit the road in 2025 for a tour packed with classic hits, solo songs and his famous Q&A sessions.
He will visit Glasgow's SEC Armadillo on Monday, April 28, 2025.
Daltrey will perform acoustic and semi-acoustic takes on gems from the legendary band and delve into a solo back catalogue that dates back nearly 50 years.
He will be joined by his nine-piece band which consists of regular The Who collaborator Simon Townshend, John Hogg, Doug Boyle, Steve Weston, Jody Linscott, Billy Nicholls, Katie Jacoby, Geraint Watkins and Scott Devours.
Roger said: "Here we go again! After touring the US with this band of phenomenal musicians, I can’t wait to get back on the road in the UK with these shows.
"It’s a joy to be on stage performing - up close and personal for the audience, chatting with them and playing familiar songs in an unfamiliar way.”
Daltrey’s solo career began in 1973 with the single ‘Giving It All Away’ which reached number 5 in the UK charts.
With The Who, he achieved success with timeless classics such as Who Are You, Won't Get Fooled Again and Baba O'Riley.
Tickets go on sale on Friday, November 15 at 10am.
