Glasgow Central Station fell silent on Monday morning to mark Armistice Day.
Train passengers, staff, veterans and military personnel gathered at the train station on November 11 where a special remembrance service was held.
Our photographer Colin Mearns captured the poignant scenes.
Standard bearers held flags for the ceremony, which also involved wreaths of poppies being placed down at the station's war memorial as tributes to those who have fought and died in wars.
A two-minute silence was observed at 11am to mark the eleventh hour on the eleventh day of the eleventh month when peace negotiations began between Britain and Germany in the First World War on November 11, 1918.
Every November 11 a remembrance service is held across the world to recognise those who bravely fought and many of whom lost their lives in conflict.
It comes after a Remembrance Sunday event was held at George Square yesterday, with Lord Provost Jacqueline McLaren and deputy first minister Kate Forbes among those in attendance.
