A cannabis farm has been discovered in a home in Cumbernauld.
Following a tip-off, officers from Airdrie's priority policing team searched a property on Glenacre Road in the town on Wednesday, November 6.
They uncovered drugs with an approximate street value of £125,000.
This included a cannabis cultivation and a quantity of herbal cannabis.
Investigations are continuing into the discovery.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland Lanarkshire said: "Drugs with an estimated street value of more than £125,000 have been recovered in Cumbernauld.
"Acting on intelligence, officers from Airdrie’s Priority Policing Team searched a property on Glenacre Road on Wednesday, November 6, 2024.
"A cannabis cultivation was discovered within the address, and a quantity of herbal cannabis was seized.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
