A man has been arrested after police responded to reports of shopworkers being threatened.
Police were seen responding to a report of a disturbance on Beeches Road, Clydebank, at around 9.10pm on Saturday, November 9.
It was reported that a man had been threatening staff and proceeded to steal alcohol from the shop.
A 29-year-old man was then traced and has been charged in connection with the incident.
He has since appeared in Dumbarton Sherrif Court on November 11.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.20pm on Saturday, November 9, 2024, officers received a report of a disturbance on Beeches Road, Clydebank.
“A 29-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection and was due to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Monday, November 11 2024.”
