Tim Hortons, known as Tim's, is a Canadian multinational coffeehouse and restaurant chain.
It serves up items including coffee, cold and iced drinks, burgers, wraps, and a huge selection of cakes. It was originally founded 60 years ago, in 1964, by Canadian ice hockey player Tim Horton and Jim Charade.
The brand has eateries across Scotland in areas including Glasgow, Paisley, Ayr, Cumbernauld, and Motherwell.
Confirming the closure of the much-loved food joint, the centre said they were 'disappointed'.
However, they revealed that Muffin Break will be moving into Tim's unit in the centre over the next few weeks.
Meanwhile, they also said they may announce further new retailers that will be opening at the centre soon.

A spokesperson for EK, East Kilbride said: "We are clearly disappointed that Tim Hortons is leaving the centre, however, we can confirm that Muffin Break will be moving into the unit in Plaza over the next few weeks.
"We have also been working closely with other retailers about coming to EK and should be in a position to announce a number of new arrivals shortly."
The Glasgow Times has contacted Tim Hortons for comment on the closure.
