A man has tragically died after an emergency incident in Newton Mearns.
Police were called to a report of a man taking unwell on Ayr Road in the town on Wednesday, November 13.
Cops were alerted to the incident shortly after 3pm.
Sadly, the man was pronounced dead a short time later.

The force says there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Around 3.05pm on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, we were called to a report of a man unwell on Ayr Road, Newton Mearns.
"He was pronounced dead a short time later.
"There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and a report will be forwarded to the Procurator Fiscal."
The Scottish Ambulance Service has been contacted for comment.
