A LOUT who lashed out at police during an Ice Cube concert was fined £1,040 today.
Christopher Forsyth, 36, was aggressive towards officers at Glasgow's Hydro arena on December 5, 2023.
Glasgow Sheriff Court heard the dad-of-five became involved in a police matter at the concert which did not concern him.
Forsyth hurled "verbal abuse" and was told to calm down but he failed to comply.
He told officers: "Go f*** yourself, stop speaking to me, I will gouge your f***ing eyes out."
Forsyth went on to challenge the police to a fight before being told that he was going to be arrested.
After being cautioned he stated: "I don't care you c***s."
Forsyth made attempts to stop handcuffs from being applied to him and tried to pull away.
He also refused to be put in a cell van.
Forsyth told one officer: "I'm taking you out on a date, can I have your number, I will not give you any hassle."
He continued to shout at police and claimed he would "kill" their children as he knew where they stayed.
Forsyth later said: "I'm an angry violent b****** and I will give you breach of the peace, you c***s."
Forsyth pleaded guilty to behaving in a threatening or abusive manner and resisting, obstructing or hindering police.
Michael O'Neill, defending, told the sentencing that his client had only drank on two occasions since suffering a heart attack when he was 30 years old.
The lawyer added: "He has been out of trouble since 2014 and has no other matters outstanding.
"He attended the concert that evening and consumed alcohol.
"He is remorseful for his conduct."
