Police have cordoned off an area of Coatbridge after another chemical leak.
Emergency services are at the Northburn Industrial Estate in Coatbridge dealing with the incident.
No one is reported to be injured and there is no risk to the wider public.
Residents living in the area are being asked to keep their windows closed while crews deal with the substance.
A spokesperson said: "Officers are in attendance with partners at the Northburn Industrial Estate in the Cameron Street area of Coatbridge, following a report of a chemical leak.
"There are no reported injuries and no risk to the wider public.
"A cordon has been put in place and nearby residents are asked to keep their windows closed while the substance is dealt with."
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “On Thursday, November 14, Operations Control mobilised a number of resources, including specialist hazmat units, to a commercial premise on Cameron Street, Coatbridge, following reports of an incident involving potentially hazardous materials.
“There were no reported casualties, and crews left after ensuring the area was made safe.”
This is the second incident of this nature in the last week, as we reported that Northburn Industrial Estate had been evacuated on Tuesday, November 5 due to a chemical leak.
The area reopened the following day and the force said an investigation into the incident was underway.
