TWO men are accused of hurling a suitcase at a man during a serious assault at an upmarket hotel.
Dylan Hill, 25, and Conner Frankgate, 27, are charged with an attack at the Hilton in Glasgow city centre on January 14 last year.
It is claimed the pair grabbed the alleged victim by the body and pinned him to the ground.
The man is said to have been repeatedly punched.
It is then further alleged that the pair, both of Greenock, "did throw a suitcase at him".
Prosecutors claim the man was knocked unconscious.
The charge states he was assaulted to his severe injury as well as to his permanent disfigurement and impairment following the incident at the hotel in the city's Wiliam Street.
Hill faces a separate charge that he breached a bail curfew at the time.
Hill and Frankgate pleaded not guilty as the case was called at Glasgow Sheriff Court.
A trial is now scheduled to begin in January next year.
