A woman has sadly died following an emergency incident in Hamilton.
Police were made aware of a woman taking unwell on Brandon Street in the town centre on Monday, November 18.
The force was alerted to the incident at around 11am.
Emergency crews, including paramedics and cops, rushed to the area.

After that, the 81-year-old woman was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.
Officer revealed there do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding her death.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
Following the incident, part of the area was cordoned off by cops.
In pictures shared with the Glasgow Times, police tape could be seen erected at the entrance to a store on the street.
Meanwhile, a cop car was also pictured in the area.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Around 11am on Monday, November 18, 2024, we were made aware a woman had taken unwell on Brandon Street in Hamilton.
"Emergency services attended, however, the 81-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
"There do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson added: "We received a call at 10.18am to attend an incident at the Top Cross in Hamilton.
"Two ambulances were dispatched to the scene.”
