A huge Irish folk band are heading to the Barrowlands next year, it has been announced.
The Pogues, most famous for songs like Fairytale of New York and Dirty Old Town, will be playing at the East End venue on May 6, 2025.

The show comes as part of the groups upcoming UK tour - their first in 13 years. The tour will celebrate 40 years of their album Rum Sodomy & the Lash.
The tour news follows the passing of former Pogues frontman Shane MacGowan who died in July 2023. The tour will feature original members James Fearnley, Jem Finer, and Spider Stacy along with special guests.
Speaking on the tour, The Pogues said: "After the uproarious bash which was the 40th anniversary of our first record, Red Roses for Me, in 2024, we wanted to do it again, but with Rum Sodomy & the Lash."
