A Glasgow man broke into a salon and stole £1000 in cash.
John Young Lamb approached Luxe beauty salon shortly after midnight on November 7, 2023, after staff had locked and secured it.
He tried to kick in the front window but was not successful.
When a passer-by disrupted him, the 48-year-old briefly left before returning and continuing to try to get inside.
Finally, he smashed a window and entered.
He went to the register and stole £1000 in cash.
The address of the salon was revealed.

Lamb appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court this week after he pleaded guilty to the theft.
The court heard that the money was never recovered and the broken window cost a further £700 of damage.
His lawyer said: "This is from November 2023. His life at that point was extremely chaotic. He has taken steps to address this now. He is working closely with addiction services.
"At the time, he relied on substances and was using Valium. He has a level of insight now and he understands what effect this had on the owner of the business."
Sheriff Collette Gallagher replied: "This is a very serious matter. I can understand what drove you to make this decision, this was a relapse. It does provide some context."
Lamb, of Scotstoun, was sentenced to one year of supervision and tagged for 162 days, which means he has to stay within his home between 7pm and 7am each day.
