Specialist emergency crews raced to a tenement building in Glasgow due to a 'chemical smell' yesterday.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) were alerted to reports of a chemical smell coming from a building on High Street on Monday, November 25.
The service was called to the incident shortly after 11pm.
After being made aware of the situation, two fire trucks and specialist resources were sent to a four-storey tenement building where there was a burning smell coming from an electrical junction box on the second floor.

Luckily, no one was injured during the incident. Fire crews left the area after making the scene safe.
A spokesperson for the SFRS said: "We were alerted at 11.20pm on Monday, November 25 to reports of a chemical smell coming from a building at High Street, Glasgow.
“Operations control mobilised two fire appliances and specialist resources to a four-storey tenement building where there was a burning smell coming from an electrical junction box on the second floor.
“There were no reported casualties and crews left the scene after leaving the incident in the hands of Scottish Power.”
