A restaurant in St Enoch centre has been named 'Indian restaurant of the year' in Glasgow.

Namaste by Delhi Darbar, located on the upper floor of the shopping centre, picked up the gong at this year's Scottish Asian Food Awards.

Other local spots recognised with top awards include Akiko on Bothwell Street, named Sushi Restaurant of the Year.

Sapporo Teppanyaki won Asian Fusion Restaurant of the Year, and Madras Cafe was named South Indian Cafe of the Year. 

The winners were announced at a ceremony on Monday, November 25 at the Doubletree by Hilton in Glasgow.
