A Glasgow shopping centre has launched a festive competition for pancake lovers.
Glasgow Fort is asking people to share their dream pancake topping, with the winning idea being served at the centre's Christmas markets.
The centre wants to hear all suggestions, whether it’s a white chocolate Christmas special, spicy cinnamon sprinkles, or marshmallow madness.
The winning flavour will be developed in partnership with market vendor, Dutch Pancake, who will give away 50 of the special flavoured pancakes for free on a first come first served basis, before adding it to their menu for the rest of the festive period.
To enter, visitors need to head to Glasgow Fort’s Facebook page and comment on the competition post by midnight on November 29, sharing a short description of why their chosen flavour tops the rest.
A judging panel from the centre will select the winner based on taste appeal and creativity.
The new flavour will be available to the public from December 5 until 29.
Dutch Pancake will also be donating a proportion of the profits from every limited-edition pancake sold to support Simba Charity – one of Glasgow Fort’s partner charities.
Phil Goodman, centre manager at Glasgow Fort, said: "Our festive markets have been popular for a number of years now, and especially all of the seasonal foods they serve.
"We’re hugely excited to offer our customers the chance to get more involved than ever in creating their very own pancake flavour, all while also helping to raise vital funds to support the fantastic work of Simba."
