A Glasgow restaurant has been named among the top 1000 best in the world.
Cail Bruich made the prestigious annual list by La Liste, scoring a healthy 77.50%.
The West End spot, led by head chef Lorna McNee, is the only city restaurant to end up on the publication's coveted Top 1000 Restaurants 2025.

It joins the likes of Guy Savoy in Paris and Caprice at the Four Seasons in Hong Kong, with restaurants from Germany, Japan, the USA, Italy and more being recognised.
Meaning 'eat well' in Gaelic, Cail Bruich on Great Western Road is famed for its five-to-seven-course tasting menus using the best local Scottish or British produce.
Popular dishes include hand-dived Orkney scallops, mushroom ravioli and monkfish.
After the restaurant was awarded a Michelin star in 2021, Lorna became the first and only female solo chef in Glasgow to have the honour.

We previously reported that Cail Bruich was rated 'exceptional' in the Good Food Guide 2024, and last year it won Scottish Restaurant of the Year at the AA Hospitality Awards.
The restaurant also came in 16th place on Harden's Top 100 Best UK Restaurants in 2023.
While several Glasgow restaurants have the Michelin 'bib gourmand', the only other in the city to have a Michelin star is Unalome by Graeme Cheevers.
