Police have vowed to continue disrupting organised crime after a huge haul of drugs was found in Glasgow.

Officers from Shettleston carried out a drugs bust in the Tollcross area of the city on Wednesday, November 27.

During the search, cops discovered £27,000 of cannabis and seized thousands of pounds worth of equipment.

Following it, the force has said drug dealing 'like this' funds 'serious and organised crime', and with the public's help, they will continue to disrupt it at 'every turn'. 


A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Officers from Shettleston police office executed a drugs warrant in the Tollcross area of Glasgow.

"They recovered £27'000 worth of cannabis and seized thousands of pounds worth of equipment.

"Drug dealing like this funds serious and organised crime, and with your help, we will disrupt it at every turn."
