Part of the M74 motorway will be closed next month.
On behalf of Transport Scotland, Amey will undertake essential repairs to bridge expansion joints on the road's Junction 6 (Hamilton Interchange) off-slip to the A723 Motherwell Road from Monday, December 2 until Wednesday, December 4.
The road firm revealed the work will take place overnight between 8pm and 6am, each night.

To allow the repairs to be completed safely, the road will be closed.
A diversion will be in place during the closure.
The diversion is as follows:
- Traffic will be diverted to exit the M74 via Junction 7 to join Lanark Road, from here they will re-join the M74 northbound carriageway via the on-slip road. Traffic will then continue to the Junction 6 northbound off-slip road to access the A723, Motherwell Road, where the diversion will end.
