A popular TikTok star entertained residents at a care home with a poetry afternoon.

Emma Armstrong, also known as The Wee Glesga Poet, visited Oakbridge Care Home in Knightswood to share her poems and engage the residents in creative writing.

Emma said: "I was honoured to be asked to come along to Oakbridge.

"I believe so much in the power of the spoken word to lift people up and nurture connection, and that’s something that I’m glad I was able to do with the lovely residents I’ve met."
