Bosses at a busy Glasgow shopping centre have teased “exciting things on the horizon” as they hint a mystery new store will open later this year.

Glasgow Fort posted images on social media showing an empty unit covered with posters reading “new store coming autumn 2026”.

Alongside the photos, the mall wrote: “We have some exciting things on the horizon.

“But we want to hear from you…

“What would you love to see join the Glasgow Fort lineup?

“Tell us in the comments – we are all ears!”

The teaser has already attracted more than 200 comments from shoppers sharing their wishlists.

Many are calling for a new leisure venue, with ideas including mini golf and kids' soft play.

Others are pushing for big-name beauty brands, with Sephora among the most popular suggestions.

Some shoppers say they would like more homeware options, such as Zara Home or Next Home, while others simply want to see a new café added to the mix.
