As life begins to return to normal, people are also contemplating a return to their annual Christmas traditions, which might include a trip to the Glasgow Christmas markets.
After cancellations last year due to Covid, in 2021 the festivities look set to return to their usual glory at Glasgow's St Enoch's Square.
The market usually see's thousands of people visit for a dose of festive spirit and this year is likely to be no different.

Glasgow Christmas market dates and opening times 2021
There is only one market in the city this year, with the market at George Sqaure cancelled as reported by the Glasgow Times
The St Enoch Square Christmas Market will open on Sunday November 21 and run until Thursday December 23, operating between the hours of 9am and 10pm.
Where can I park for the Glasgow Christmas markets?
There are various car parks in walking distance from the Glasgow Christmas markets.
Concert Square car park at 97 Cowcaddens Road is a 15 minute walk from St Enoch Square.
NCP Glasgow King Street Car Park is between a 5-10 minute walk from St Enoch Sqaure, as is Buchanan Galleries car park.
Q-Park at St Enoch and Mitchell Street car park are also both possible options for parking.
How else can I travel to the Glasgow Christmas markets?
There are plenty of transport options to the Glasgow Christmas markets that don't require a car.
Queen Street and Central train stations are both located within a 10-minute walk of St Enoch Square, while Buchanan bus station is a 10-15 minute walk to the market.
What will feature at the Glasgow Christmas markets?
St Enoch market will boast 50 stalls selling seasonal food including rotisserie, crepes, bratwurst sausage and hog roast.
These can be washed down with a drink from the bar followed by some shopping at stalls selling artisan products and crafts.
