Scotland and Ukraine are set to go head-to-head in this year's Nations League Cup after Steve Clark’s defeat to the beleaguered country earlier this year during the 2022 Qatar World Cup qualifiers.
Since their last clash, which saw Scotland lose 3-1 to the European nation, midfielder, Stuart Armstrong hopes the lingering “hurt” will motivate the team to win.

The game will be held tonight at 7:45pm and will be available to watch live.
The two sides will play again on Tuesday September 27 while Scotland and Ireland are set to clash on September 24.

What is the Nations League Cup?
The UEFA Nations League Cup replaces friendlies with competitive matches and is played by senior men’s football teams.
The tournament first began in September 2018 and is run by Europe’s governing football body, UEFA.

Scotland failed to qualify for this year's world cup after losing 3-1 to Ukraine in June’s play-off semi-final and after their 3-0 defeat against Ireland.
