With the Glasgow Film Festival (GFF) now upon us, many movie lovers will be eager to see what's on as the city celebrates the art of cinema.
The festival, which is considered one of the top three in the UK, is a yearly occurrence which sees the screening of a variety of films.
On its website, GFF says that "Glasgow is one of the friendliest film festivals on the planet with a wide-ranging programme that celebrates every corner of world cinema and provides a fantastic showcase for the best of Scottish film."
The organisers added: "The Festival has a long tradition of championing new talent and ensuring that the very best films from the annual submissions are given a platform."

The Glasgow Film Festival began on Wednesday, March 1 and will last until Sunday, March 12, 2023.

What's on at the Glasgow Film Festival?
The films on show at the Glasgow Film Festival include the debut of BAFTA-nominated Girl, telling the story of Grace and her 11-year-old daughter Ama as they build a new life in Glasgow as refugees.
The festival will have long anticipated screenings of the Irish film Sunlight by director Claire Dixh about recovering addict Leon and dying mentor Iver enjoying one last day together.
If you're looking for a horror film set in the Highlands of Scotland during the Stone Age, look no further than The Origin by Andrew Cumming.
There will also be showings of Roman Holiday and Prison as well as dozens of others movies which can all be found on the GFF website.
How to get Glasgow Film Festival tickets
Tickets for each of the films on the show can be found on the GFF website where interested viewers can select genres, accessibility preferences, special features and dates.
Tickets can also be acquired at the GFT box office.
How are Glasgow Film Festival movies selected?
A screening committee selects the films to be screened at each festival with submissions not guaranteed a showing.
The final selection and scheduling of the films are then at the discretion of the festival directors.
The Glasgow Film Festival will take place between March 1 and 12 at the GFT.
