The Kinneuchar Inn and Dumfries and Galloway's The Clachan Inn were the two Scottish pubs named among the cosiest in the UK by The Good Food Guide.
At the Kinneuchar Inn the menu changes daily, depending on the produce available to the kitchen that evening, meaning the diversity of dishes on offer here is substantial.
In terms of desserts, the pub does not disappoint with its homemade ice cream and shortbread being "hard to beat".
The Michelin star spot is beloved by patrons on Tripadvisor with it receiving a 4/5 out of 116 reviews. One visitor said coming here was a "fabulous experience" and that the "food was excellent".
