1 Pooh Bear:

A slow-witted but insightful toy bear with a talent for writing poetry, and an insatiable love of honey.

2 Christopher Robin: The only human in the stories, he is cheerful and someone the animals look up to.

3 Piglet: A timid but often very brave little pig, he is Pooh's best friend.

4 Eeyore: The glum, pessimistic and ultra-cautious donkey with the catchphrase "thanks for noticing".

5 Kanga: A female kangaroo who lives with her baby - Roo - in Sandy Pit.

6 Roo: The youngest of the main characters, he is playful and energetic.

7 Rabbit: Irritable character who is obsessed with rules and planning and often loses his temper.

8 Tigger: Ho loves to bounce, especially on top of others and any task is "what tiggers do best".

9 Owl: The eldest main chartacter and the wise and self-styled mentor of the others.

10 Heffalumps: Elephant-like creatures that are fond of honey and inhabit the Hundred Acre Wood.
