SKIDS frontman Richard Jobson caused uproar onstage at Scots festival Rewind when he called Leo Sayer a “little midget s**t” for denying the band a number one album.
The Kircaldy born Skids frontman didn’t hold back when he told the crowd at Rewind in Scone Palace about his disappointment after the band’s most recent album Burning Cities reached number two in the indie charts, kept off the number one spot by Leo Sayer.
Richard, 57, said: “We released an album and it went to number two in the charts. Did we get cut off by the Clash or Bruce Springsteen in the charts? No, we got kicked off the number one spot by Leo Sayer. Ah the pain. Little midget sh**.”
He told me later: “I’m very bitter about it. I’m angry as hell. I’m going to find him and shave off all his hair.”
