DUMBARTON boss Stevie Aitken has added young Celtic star Jamie Lindsay to his squad on loan.
Aitken is delighted to get the 19-year-old on board as he had the chance to join Oldham for first-team experience with Raith Rovers also keen.
The Sons head to Greenock tomorrow for a Petrofac Training Cup first-round tie aganst Morton, and former Cappielow player Aitken said: "I have been aware of Jamie for some time and I know that he is highly rated by Celtic, so to get him to sign for us is a real coup.
"The fact that we are part-time may have actually worked in our favour as Jamie can continue working with Celtic during the day and train with us at night, so they can monitor him closely.
"I am sure that he will do well with us and that he will gain experience which will stand him in good stead for the rest of his career."
