CRAIG HALKETT could make his Livingston debut against Rangers this weekend after leaving Ibrox to join the Lions.
The defender has spent time on loan at Berwick and Clyde in recent years but was unable to make the breakthrough into Mark Warburton’s side this season.
And now Halkett is in line for a dream bow as David Hopkin’s side prepare for their Ibrox trip.
He said: “It would be great. It would certainly be an incredible experience to play my first game for Livi against the team that just released me.
“I’ve been a Rangers fan since I was a boy so to play at Ibrox would be great, but obviously I want to play my part in getting the points there for Livingston.
“I learned a lot from my loan spells, but this is a chance to play at a higher level and I’m really looking forward to the challenge.
"When the opportunity came to play Championship football, I couldn’t turn it down so it’s great to be here.”
