RANGERS will allow midfielder Greg Docherty to leave Ibrox this summer in search of first team football.
The 21-year-old made a substitute appearance in the friendly win over Bury but didn’t feature in either leg of the Europa League clash with FK Shkupi.
Docherty could now clinch a temporary switch away from Rangers, with Sunderland a possible destination as former St. Mirren boss Jack Ross looks to lead the Black Cats to promotion back to the Championship this term.

The Scotland youth international joined the Light Blues in January on a four-and-a-half year deal.
He made 11 appearances in the second half of the campaign but has been unable to establish himself since the arrival of boss Steven Gerrard this summer.
Gerrard has added nine players to his squad in recent weeks as he prepares for his first season in charge.
And Docherty could now look to head out on loan to find regular match action in the coming months.
