RYAN JACK reckons he is already feeling the benefits of working under Rangers boss Steven Gerrard and his new Ibrox backroom team.
The midfielder featured in both legs of the Europa League win over FK Shkupi and is with the Light Blues squad in Croatia ahead of the second round clash with NK Osijek tonight.
Jack impressed during his first months with the Gers last term but saw his campaign cut-short due to a serious knee injury.

And the former Aberdeen captain is relishing the chance to learn from Gerrard and right-hand man Gary McAllister.
Jack said: “He has done a lot of individual midfielder drills, with Gaz too. He and Gary pull me aside after training sessions and tell me what I’ve done well and the other areas in which they’re looking for me to improve.
“After the game last week he had a meeting with Ross McCrorie and me and spoke about what we did well together and what we didn’t do so well together and where we could improve still further. As a player, that’s what you’re want and you’re learning off the best.
“Ross and I haven’t played together in midfield too often but when you go into a meeting and they tell you what they’ve seen and how they see it you want to take their advice and try and replicate in when you go on the pitch.

“It’s things that when you’re actually in the heat of the moment you don’t think about because you are so focused on the game, especially around areas such as positioning on the ball and off it and helping the team and how you can affect the game positively.
“He gets involved when he has to and speaks when he has to. There’s a really good staff - Gaz has his say when he feels he needs to and Michael Beale takes quite a lot of the training and is a very good coach and Tom Culshaw as well takes the set pieces and things, it’s a really good balance and everyone has their say when then they need to.”
