WEST Bromwich Albion left-back Max Melbourne has signed a six-month loan deal with Partick Thistle.
The 19-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at Ross County in the Ladbrokes Premiership as the Staggies suffered relegation.
He is now set to come up against his former club in the Championship this term after agreeing a deal to join Alan Archibald's side until January.

Melbourne, who can operate on the left side of defence or midfield, made six appearances for the Highlanders last season after featuring 16 times for the Baggies Under-23 side.
He becomes Thistle's eighth arrival of the summer, following Craig Slater, Tam O'Ware, Cammy Bell, Jack Storer, Aaron Lennox, Sean McGinty and Shea Gordon through the door at Firhill.
The Jags opened their Betfred Cup campaign in fine form this month, recording wins over Stenhousemuir, Morton and Albion Rovers in Group E.
Their league campaign begins on Saturday 4 August with a trip to Somerset Park to face Ayr United.
