RANGERS take a 1-0 lead into the second leg of their qualifier with Osijek on Thursday night and it will be interesting to see whether they go for that second goal or sit in and look to catch the Croatians on the break.
When you are at Ibrox, you have to go and play, look to go and win the game and use the crowd to your advantage by being on the front foot.
Osijek finished fourth in the league last season and Steven Gerrard certainly won’t be taking anything for granted this week.
But with the home crowd behind them, there are no excuses for Rangers and it is all about starting the game well and not allowing them to settle and get into their rhythm.
There will be an expectation from the supporters to go and play an attacking style and to win the game.
Rangers have five clean sheets from five games so far and the manager will be determined to keep that going. And he will want his forward players to express themselves.
If Rangers have the right approach, there is no reason why they can’t win the game and get themselves through to the third qualifying round, which is all that matters.
