There is obviously huge disappointment that Celtic are not going to be in the Champions League this season, but they still have to lift themselves now for the Europa League. Yes, it isn’t as prestigious a tournament, but it is still European football and Celtic have to take it seriously.
They are where they are, and they have to make sure that they qualify for the group stages. Ironically enough, Celtic may well be better equipped to do well in the Europa League rather than the Champions League.
If they can get themselves together, a long run in the competition is realistic.
