GORDON: (6) Beaten by an Ovidijus Verbickas header after a long ball into the Celtic defence caused all sorts of problems at the back post. Forced into a decent stop from Cicilia in the second period when he tipped the effort over the bar. Another block low at his right-hand side as the Lithuanians enjoyed their best spell of possession.
GAMBOA: (6) Kept his starting jersey after an impressive start at Firhill but struggled to produce the same level of performance. Replaced by Izaguirre as Celtic shifted to a back three for the final stages of the game.
AJER: (6) Almost put himself on the scoresheet after a one-two with McGregor put him into the box but still looks as though he could do with a calm head beside him defensively. Came close to snatching a winner in the final minute of the game with a header that he couldn't get on target.
SIMUNOVIC: (5) Unconvincing at the back again and seems to have lost his way over the last year or so. Was replaced by Mikael Lustig in the opening stages of the second period after going down with an injury.
TIERNEY: (7) One long-range effort that rose just over the bar in the second period as the Scotland internationalist tried his luck from distance. Spent the bulk of the opening half in particular in advanced positions.
BROWN: (6)Would have felt right at home as he was booed throughout the game by the home support. Usual shift of making sure his presence was felt in the middle of the park.
NTCHAM: (7) Sent Celtic on their way with the opening goal after just two minutes and 20 seconds after converting a header from Johnston’s pinpoint delivery.
MCGREGOR: (7) Unlucky with one effort after Dembele had chipped the ball over the Suduva defence. Keen to probe for openings but seemed far more subdued in the second period.
FORREST: (6) Had a left-foot snapshot that brought out a decent save in the opening half as Celtic dominated.
JOHNSTON: (7)First European start for the club and did well to tee up Ntcham for the goal. Lots of endeavour and work and saw a header saved in the opening period.
DEMBELE: (6) Back in the starting line-up but had a tough shift playing up front on his own. Had a couple of half chances but was irked that Ajer nicked the ball off his head from a corner in the last minutes of the game.
LUSTIG: (4) One slack backpass towards the end of the game that could have been costly.
GRIFFITHS: (4): Tried to hook up with Dembele but few opportunities to combine up front.
IZAGUIRRE: (4)Booked shortly after his arrival and flirted with collecting a second yellow after a high tackle, rarely looked on favourably by European referees.
