CELTIC centre half Jack Hendry has withdrawn from the Scotland squad for the games against Belgium and Albania due to injury.
Hendry missed the first leg of the Europa League play-off against Suduva in Lithuania last week and the Ladbrokes Premiership match with Hamilton at Parkhead on Sunday with a knee injury.
The 23-year-old defender made his debut for the national team against Hungary in Budapest in March and also played against Mexico in North America in June.
But he won't be involved in the friendly against Russia 2018 semi-finalists Belgium at Hampden a week tomorrow or the opening Nations League match with Albania at the same venue three days later.
Hendry's withdrawal means that Scotland manager Alex McLeish only has three players who can operate at centre half - Charlie Mulgrew, uncapped John Souttar
and specialist left back Kieran Tierney.
Elsewhere, Fulham midfielder Tom Cairney has also pulled out of the squad after failing to recover from the ankle injury he sustained in the 4-2 win over Burnley at the weekend.
